In November, a group of us will be traveling to Sierra Leone for a one to two week service learning experience. This is a great opportunity for professionals eager to put their skills to use, youth interested in development, or anyone looking for something that will change your life.
Undergraduate or Graduate Students
Are you an undergraduate or graduate student interested in development?
Share HEART in Africa offers internship opportunities throughout the year with flexible dates. Get ready for the toughest internship you will ever love in rural Sierra Leone, West Africa.
Although you will face both physical and emotional challenges while living in a subsistence farming village, you will have an amazing opportunity to work alongside Sierra Leoneans as they move from extreme poverty to middle income. With hard work, introspection, and dedication, you will have a tremendous impact on the lives of some of the poorest and kindest people in the world. You will come to understand what it means to live in extreme poverty, and in doing so, gain insight to the other half of the world.
Interns must self-fund their own travels, yet life in the villages is extremely affordable. Interns typically specialize in one or more of the following categories: Water & Sanitation, Health, Education, Agriculture, and engineering

Ministry Opportunities
We are looking for construction workers, teachers, doctors, nurses, dentists, dental hygienists, and anyone interested in making a difference for a mission trip to Sierra Leone. No matter who you are or what you do, you can make a difference!
Share HEART in Africa staff will be with you all the way. Experienced with the culture, they will serve as your guide working with you to make your trip rewarding, fruitful and fulfilling. Without a doubt, you will return home more grateful than ever for the things you have here but more importantly you will forever cherish your life changing adventure in Sierra Leone because you heard and answered God's call on your life.
Sponsor a Project
We are honored to take volunteers to travel with us to Sierra Leone! Each group that will be traveling with us to Sierra Leone will choose a program or building project to support or create. This project could range from teaching art (for a total of $500 supplies) to build a three-classroom building (it can be done for a total of $20,000).
