Medical and Dental Clinics
Each year more than 7 million children worldwide die before their fifth birthday. In Sierra Leone, that translates to 1 out of every 7 children that will die before their fifth birthday. Often, all they need is basic medical care to treat preventable illnesses, but clinics are inaccessible and most lack basic medicines and supplies.Your gift will provide lifesaving care for children and their families in Sierra Leone.
Also, there are limited numbers of dental clinics in Sierra Leone and most people requiring dental care, especially villagers have to travel for miles to the nearest dental clinic. Because of this and the cost of the dental treatment, many go without any care and suffer with unnecessary pain and health deterioration.
With your help, clinics will have the ability to treat children from head to toe — ridding them of diseases, chronic pain, and vitamin deficiencies, as well as fighting malnutrition that amplifies the effects of every illness.
