Educate Children
Share HEART in Africa places great emphasis on the importance of education in the transformation of a child's life. In order to educate, equip, and empower children to become our Future Leaders, we provide three necessary components to the children in our programs:

1. Accessibility to ensure quality education (preschool–High School) is accessible to all children enrolled in Share HEART in Africa programs.

2. World-class learning standards: providing the best education possible.

3. Well-prepared teachers: by supporting teachers through training and mentoring.

In the remote villages in Sierra Leone, schools are isolated from state and nonprofit support. Less than half of girls and two-thirds of boys complete their primary education. Some kids are forced to walk more than 12 miles to and back from school each day. Addition, less than half of the teachers are qualified and trained teachers.

Working with communities, teachers, parents and school governing bodies, our aim is to improve children’s learning by strengthening parents and community members to engage in and support their children’s education, teaching standards, and learning environment.

By providing these children with this gift, we hope to inspire and empower them to become our future leaders. If you’d like to contribute directly to a fund that will be used towards educating our children, please contribute here.
